What is the purpose of this app?
iResident makes it easy to manage your housing authority needs right from your phone. No need to call or email to request a work order or to reschedule an inspection.
What can residents do with the app?
Depending on the contract with the Housing Authority, residents can request and keep track of maintenance work orders, manage the inspection process, and soon they will be able to submit and manage their annual recertification process.
How do I download and install the app?
Go to the App Store (for iPhones) or Google Play Store (for Android). Search for iResident Services, make sure the logo matches the one at the top of this document. Tap Download, and you’re all set!
How do I create an account or log in?
- Open the app and tap Log In.
- SelectSign Up.
- Chooseyour Housing Agency and enter your address.
- Confirmor update your personal information.
- Selecta password and confirm.

What types of work orders can I submit through the app?
You can submit routine and emergency work orders.
Can I track the status of my work order?
We will inform you once the maintenance department recieves your work order, but we are not able to provide specific time frames for maintenance visits.
What information do I need to provide when submitting a work order
Just follow three simple steps:
- Confirm your personal info
- Select the issue area and describe the problem
- Upload a photo (if available), then tap Submit
- Tap Submit
Is there a way to provide feedback about the app and maintenance service received?
You can share your feedback at iresidentapp@gilsonhousingpartners.com. You’ll also recieve a quick survey by text or email.

How can I see my upcoming inspection in the iResident app?
Inside the Inspections section, you may be able to see details such as the scheduled inspection date, time window (if provided), and inspection status.
If you do not see inspection information in your app, it may mean that the Inspections module is not enabled for your Housing Authority.
Can I reschedule my inspection through the app?
Yes, you can request a reschedule for your inspection. This process must be approved by the inspections department.
If rescheduling is allowed, you will receive a notification with the new date and time.
Will the app notify me when my inspection is coming up?
If notifications are enabled on your phone, the iResident app may send reminders or alerts about upcoming inspections.
What should I do if I encounter technical issues with the app?
Email us at iresidentapp@gilsonhousingpartners.com with the following details:
- Full name
- Date of when the issue happened
- Device model (e.g., iPhone 13, Samsung Galaxy S21)
- Confirm that your app is updated
- A short description of the issue
- Screenshots or a screen recording, if possible
